Miami Youth Academy is a 28-bed residential treatment program serving male youth ages 14 to 18 who require mental health and substance abuse services. Operated in partnership with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, the program provides a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment where young men can heal, grow, and thrive.
Following a holistic and integrated treatment model, Miami Youth Academy delivers individualized, evidence-based care that combines behavioral health treatment, academic instruction, vocational training, and pro-social skill development. Each resident receives individualized support designed to build accountability, strengthen resilience, and promote long-term success.
Youth engage in individual, family, and group therapy and receive case management, health and wellness support, educational services, and structured pro-social activities that foster positive relationships and personal growth. The program also provides evidence-based substance abuse treatment and comprehensive supervision to promote lasting recovery and behavioral change.
At Miami Youth Academy, our culture is rooted in dignity, respect, and accountability, empowering young men to succeed during their time in the program and to return home with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to reach their full potential.
